Surrounding yourself with people that reflect not only who you want to be but who you truly are is key to your personal growth and happiness. Our soul evolves with time so it’s possible that someone that we meshed with a few years ago no longer has the same energy.

It’s okay to move on from certain relationships if we see that they are no longer aligned with our values or core desires. I’ve had moments in my life when I started feeling really disconnected from a certain friend and it’s not because they did anything wrong per say.

In some cases they were making decisions I just didn’t understand, in others I was tired of the drama that seemed to constantly surround them.

It’s important to have friends that you respect and even admire.

To connect with people that have an energy that lifts you up rather than drags you down. We are all human and we have our good and bad moments. Nobody is perfect but that doesn’t mean you have to hang out with people that make you feel less than great. Notice who you are in contact with most often and see how they make you feel.

Don’t judge yourself for wanting to keep your distance from certain people or to be closer to others.

Gravitate towards people that are aligned with your values (for me that’s health, self respect, positivity, confidence and more). Don’t feel the need to point out to others why you might be spending less time with them. Let the evolution happen naturally. Wishing you a wonderful day where you surround yourself with those that inspire you the most.
