If you read the word mantra in the title of this post and thought “that kind of new-agey stuff isn’t for me”, just replace the term with “philosophy”. Life philosophies affect how we interact with others and they can either reduce stress levels or increase them depending on how they influence our perceptions. The challenge is that we don’t always realize that it’s our mindset that is creating some of our daily dramas and this is why I love these four mantras so much.
The four mantras that I speak about in this video are from the book The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. They allow us to have some introspection into how our view of life can actually add to the negativity that we face if we aren’t careful. These four philosophies also help with not sweating the small stuff and avoiding unnecessary stress. Enjoy!
