People, the struggle is real. Finding enough time in a day to do everything can be so challenging! One of the reasons I love this quote is that it reminds us that everyone is on the same playing field. Sure Beyoncé has enough money to pay people to help her with a variety of things but that wasn’t always the case and yet, look at where she is today.
We all have our metrics of “success” and our parameters for happiness but one thing that is universal is how much time we have in a day.
Since we haven’t found a way to expand time just yet, the keyword is PRIORITIZE.
We have to constantly come back to our why and remember what’s most important to us. Then we need to focus our actions on those priorities.
I totally understand how difficult it can be to choose those priorities. When you say yes to one thing you are saying no (or “later”) to something else. Sometimes we fear making the wrong choice and sometimes the compromises are really hard.
At the same time, we should be grateful that we have so many options to choose from. Some people in the world are solely focused on where their next meal is going to come and how they can access clean water.
Let’s always remember this and practice gratitude everyday as we play the prioritization game. Wishing you a wonderful week where you focus that precious energy of yours on what makes your heart sing.
