Let’s set an intention for today to keep an open heart and open mind. When fear arises in us, our first reflex is often to close ourselves off because we think it will protect us. The problem with closing ourselves off is that it also blocks us from letting the good stuff in. Good things like love, laughter, meeting new people, embracing opportunities, etc.

We can find a balance between shielding ourselves from negativity when we are in its presence and welcoming in positive energy. Let’s keep an open heart and open mind because a world where we don’t would be a sad one. Notice today that when setting a clear intention this morning to keep an open heart and mind, you allowed yourself to let more good in. Little moments that you might not have experienced if you had stayed closed.
