Gratitude is a great stress buster. When you feel down or have anxiety, start focusing on everything you are grateful for. Look at your life for a moment. Do you “Have to” go to a job this morning or do you “get to” earn money which puts food on the table?
Do you have to workout or do you get to move your body in ways that allow you to stay healthy and autonomous?
Have to clean the house or get groceries? Or lucky to have a roof over your head the the capacity to eat when you’re hungry?
Okay, I’m sure you get the idea by now but seriously we can easily forget how blessed we are. I know Mondays aren’t always easy but adopting the right mindset will make all the difference in the world in starting your day feeling crappy or walking just a little bit lighter because you realize how lucky you are
