Seeing Blake Lively in Vogue magazine has brought my girl crush of the Gossip Girl star to a whole new level. This shoot is E P I C. The backdrop is magnificent (the Teton mountain range in Wyoming) and the clothes are sublime: we’ve got fringe, feathers and fabulous faux-fur. And if that isn’t enough for you there are cute dogs and a few hot cowboys. Giddy up my friends, you are in for a treat!
In the issue, the Gossip Girl turned Internet entrepreneur talks about her latest venture-a website called Preserve. For the full interview and details on what she is wearing click here. If you are curious about this new project as much as I am, here is a quick description of what’s to be expected of her site. UPDATE: On October 12, 2015 the Preserve site was unfortunately shut down (for more details, read this Us Weekly article.).
“Preserve is a fundamentally curious and free-spirited enterprise. Part digital magazine, part e-commerce venture, part video blog, the site will seek out and celebrate people all over America who are making things-food, clothes, pillows, dishes, dining-room tables-with their hands. Its design evokes a kind of moody-spooky beauty that one associates with Savannah or New Orleans (a favourite place of Lively and Reynolds’s).”
I don’t know about you but I am definitely intrigued! They don’t mention a specific launch date of course but I’m sure it will be all over the internets as soon as it goes live so stay tuned!
