We can only live one breath at a time and one step at a time so why do we always let our thoughts get 100 miles ahead of us? Sure it’s fine to plan but we often get stressed thinking of outcomes that might never happen. We can only be in this moment, and then in the next moment.

When we get ahead of ourselves we can create overwhelm because we think we won’t be able to tackle whatever awaits. We are so much stronger and capable than we think but we deplete our energies when we try to take too much of the future in.

This is especially true if you’ve decided to take on important projects such as launching your own business or perhaps having children. These endeavours are monumental and if we try to have it all figured out before we start, we’ll probably get so freaked out that we might decide to not even do it!

It’s a good thing to map out a plan, a general outline but we’ve got to leave room for life to happen and for the necessary resources to come our way when we will need them.

We’ve got to have courage and faith. As Martin Luther King said: “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” I truly believe that that is how you can live your fullest life. Take that next step and once you’ve taken it, the next one will become clear. Wishing you a wonderful day where you have faith in yourself and in the outcome you desire.
