May your weekend be stress free and may you see that you have the choice to welcome inner peace rather than chaos. We remind ourselves on a daily basis that stress a choice but also that how we react to everything that happens to us a a decision as well.
It’s up to us to learn to make it a conscious decision. To be able to create a small space between the external circumstance and our reaction to it that gives us the opportunity to decide how we choose to react to it.
At first it can be challenging but it’s like exercising a muscle: the more you do it, the stronger you become. By learning to do this you stop being at the mercy of the chaos of the outside world and you start to be master of your inner world. I’ll leave you with one of my favourite quotes from Eckhart Tolle which always brings me out of my monkey mind and back to my center:
