“Everything is figureoutable” is a mantra I first heard from Marie Forleo and that often helps me move ahead when I feel overwhelmed by a project. Marie is a a successful inspiring woman that knows a thing or two about getting things done and she’s built an amazing business one step at a time following this philosophy.
I am one to get discouraged easily sometimes if I try and fail or if I think I won’t be able to do figure something out in my own (this is why I need this reminder). This blog and more recently the new online shop (check it out here!) are great examples of how I first let fear stop me but then overcame the feeling of overwhelm by taking action. I learned that the first step is just to get started. You don’t have to have the entire plan figured out.
If you are meant to do something, you can find the resources you will need to accomplish this. It can be by Googling something or by reaching out to someone that has a skill you need to move forward with your dream. I also realized that we often stand in our own way because of our fears of not being enough.
When your heart is calling you to do something, even if you start out by sucking at whatever that is, it really doesn’t matter. You might think that everyone is watching and judging you but it’s you that is probably your harshest critic. Have faith and just take one tiny step forward. Ask the universe to send you what you need but also be proactive in getting it.
I am so grateful for the people that have allowed me to follow my purpose and you have those resources as well. Take moments of stillness and call on them. With time they will come forward if you show courage and just get started. Have an incredible week where you break that pattern of fear and inaction and step into figuring things out one day at a time.
