Living in the present moment is something that we hear about more and more. It’s funny really because when you think of it, there only is the present moment. The past and the future just exist in our mind and yet how often do we spend time there? A lot it would seem…

In this video, I explain how the most difficult period in my life (a burn out) brought me to live in the present moment more than ever before and how that allowed me to experience happiness in the midst of darkness.

After watching this, I’m sure you’ll start noticing (if you hadn’t already) when you are lost in the past or obsessing about the future. It’s not that we shouldn’t think about those periods but we definitely miss out on a lot when we unconsciously dwell there for hours at a time during our day/life.

Also, if you want a great tool to help you start living in the present moment more and more, the book that I refer to in the video is called A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. You can purchase it in paperback, Kindle edition or as an iBook.
