If you’re a perfectionist like me you probably get involved in trying to “improve” the people around you. We might have the best intentions in the world when we do this but it ends up creating unnecessary stress for ourselves and those we love.
In this video, I share how I learned to let go of “fixing” others and started focusing on my own stuff plus how this is actually more efficient in getting people on board with your ideas. Enjoy watching and let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
Did you recognize yourself at all in what I described in this video? If so, you’re not alone. Many driven people tend to want to get others to live the same way they do but we really need to stay in our own lane in order to maintain harmonious relationships.
It’s all about focusing on our journey and allowing others to do the same. We have different lessons to learn and we all grow at our own pace. Getting involved in others’ lives usually just creates drama and frustration so let’s put those blinders on and mind our own business. Yes, easier said then done (I’m still working on it) but it’s worth the effort in the end.
