Yoah!! I was thrown a major curve ball yesterday. It’s still too fresh to reveal here but what I will say is that I’m noticing more and more that we can avoid causing ourselves so much pain when we avoid falling into worry mode.

Worry about what others think, worry if we’re good enough, worry about what’s going to happen tomorrow and the day after that.

This doesn’t mean that we can’t plan ahead or look back at lessons that we can learn but that is totally different to worrying.

Worry is when you get caught in an unconscious vicious circle of unproductive negative thoughts.

It’s when we create suffering for ourselves on top of the challenge we are already dealing with.

Saying to ourselves things like “life is unfair” can only cause angst for ourselves and nothing good comes of that.

I’m here today with something that could be seen as a “failure” but I look at it as life presenting me with new opportunities but also that where I was at was not a good fit.
