Whether you’re a full on wellness warrior that works out every day or you just go to a yoga class from time to time, it’s nice to have the proper equipment (and cute outfit). That said, you do not NEED any of the suggestions below to start focusing on your health and happiness. These are simply ideas to perhaps upgrade something you already have or maybe treat yourself because you’ve been so good at taking care of your body, mind and soul.

Mini pilates ball

I already have a pilates ring and I’ve been using a towel instead of a deflated ball for some of my Melissa Wood Health workouts but in the near future I’ve got my eye on this black pilates ball by Every Day Yoga which you can deflate or keep full size based on your needs. It’s just a great accessory to mix your workout moves up a little which is so important to keep your muscles guessing and getting stronger.

Himalayan salt lamp

Everyone in the wellness world has heard about the benefits of salt lamps. Some of them are debatable but they are definitely a good accessory to have in the home to improve your health. According to wellnessmama.com:

Salt is naturally hygroscopic, which means it attracts water molecules to itself. The theory goes that salt lamps attract water molecules in the air. Since water in the air can also hold allergens, pollutants and even bacteria, these substances get attracted to the lamp too. The heated salt lamp supposedly dries out the water vapor, leaving the particles attached to the salt.

Moon phases yoga may by Yoga Zeal

Can a girl really have too many yoga mats? I have three (two LOLE Glow mats, one from Sugarmat) but I’ve been swooning over this moon phase mat for the longest time because of its dark and dramatic print which seems perfect for a late night yoga session or full moon meditation practice.

Mini trampoline (rebounder)

I discovered rebounding with Tracy Campoli when I started working out from home in Switzerland but never bought a rebounder because I couldn’t really bring it back to Canada with me. Trampoline workouts seem like so much fun and a great way to get your cardio going.

Bala bangles

I already have two pairs of Bala ankle weights (in Sand and Heather) but I would have them in every single colour if I didn’t control myself. They are the first stylish looking ankle weights on the market since this kind of workout accessory first came out in the 80’s and they’ve become wildly popular. One to two pound weights on wrists or ankles are a fantastic way to amp up your workout and keep challenging your muscles more and more.

I bought mine here on Indigo Chapters because they came cheaper thanks to the 10% off you get when signing up to their email but unfortunately they are totally out of stock right now.

I will leave my list at this for now so not to overwhelm anyone but I was tempted to include some supplements here too. Let me know if you would like me to do a post specifically on that! Until next time, wishing you a wonderful week! Geneviève xo
