Hi guys! It’s Saturday morning and in less than 24 hours I will be following my dreams to Costa Rica. It’s been on my bucket list to travel to this magical destination ever since I tore out the photo below from a 2011 ELLE magazine featuring Claire Darrow Mosier in the luxury tree house she had built for her family in the Osa Peninsula.

I didn’t know who Claire Darrow Mosier was and I didn’t care. That photo just spoke to me for so many reasons: the easiness of her look (the stunning yet relaxed dress + bare feet), the nature that surrounded her (green, green and more green!) and the idea of living a life part of the year somewhere sunny and warm.

I pinned that photo on my vision board and it’s been staring at me for the last 4 years. I knew that the day would come when it would be my time to be in Costa Rica and the time is now (well tomorrow if we’re talking specifics).

I am beyond excited and can’t wait to share my adventures with you on social media and here of course on the Red Fairy Project. If you don’t want to miss a beat, make sure you follow my travel logs on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter and sign up for the weekly newsletter!
