So I turned 40 yesterday and guess what, I’m actually super happy about it. Why? Because I’m at a place in my life where I feel comfortable with myself and I want to share with you 3 precious life lessons that helped me get to this point (cuz it doesn’t just happen magically overnight).

It hasn’t been all unicorns and rainbows. In fact it’s usually quite the opposite when you experience personal growth. I went through a darker period in my thirties (including a burnout) but luckily I found some game changing wisdom that created an important shift in how I viewed life and lived it. I speak to that in this video in the hopes that the lessons I learned can provide you with some insights on your own journey. Enjoy watching!

As promised in the video, here is the link to subscribe to my newsletter which you should totally do because who doesn’t need a weekly dose of inspiration to live healthy + happy?

You can also subscribe to my You Tube channel which will allow you to find out whenever a new video goes live.

So what is your takeaway from this video? Do you perhaps need to be a bit kinder to yourself? Or maybe it’s time to put those blinders on to stop comparing yourself. Whatever it is, do it from a place of love and be gentle as you do this inner work. Wishing you a wonderful week and I would love to hear/read your comments on the precious lessons you’ve learned so far in life that have helped you be a little more happy and a little less anxious in this crazy human adventure. Share away below!

  • I enjoyed that video, thanks for sharing! Important tips that apply to me as an adult, as well as one’s I can teach my girls about as they grow up.
    Thanks Genevieve!

  • You’re so welcome beautiful Christie! So glad you enjoyed this video and what a good idea to think about the precious lessons you could pass on to your girls! I feel like parents teach us so many valuable things but sometimes this kind of “inner work” is put to the side and not always prioritized even though it’s so important to live healthy + happy. xo
