Whether you consider yourself a nature lover or not we are all connected to the elements. When we spend too much time away from them we can feel out of balance and depleted of our precious energy. My favourite way to recharge is heading to the lake to do some stand up paddleboarding or walk in the woods.

Water in particular has a powerful resourcing effect. It allows us to immediately relax and put our worries in perspective.

We can get so caught up in the daily grind and demands of life that it’s easy to think we don’t have time to reconnect with nature.

The problem is that when we don’t make the time, our body, mind and soul eventually give us warning signals that they need some major TLC.

Notice how you are currently doing. Do you feel energized and light or lethargic and heavy? It’s going to be a gorgeous day so make sure you enjoy some of it by getting some fresh air, taking a few deep breathes and letting yourself relax a little.

Find a balance between doing and just Being. Life’s too short not to enjoy the beauty and gifts this planet has to offer even if that means being a part time nature lover.
