Why setting the bar lower can help you reach your health goals

Ever get discouraged because you can’t reach your health goals? You might be setting the bar too high… In this video, I talk about how taking baby steps towards your goals is often more productive than aiming really high. How becoming the best version of yourself (body, mind & soul) happens with little victories.

These small victories will occur if you are consistent with your efforts. When we set the bar high and don’t reach it, we can lose faith in ourselves and even feel like giving up.

My successful approach has been to aim a little lower but with consistent action and results. Each step I take gives me the confidence to take a bigger step and I eventually reach my goal (be it meditating, working out, healthy eating, etc). Enjoy!
