Do you believe that you are meant to thrive? Or, as the week finishes to you feel that you are in total survival mode, barely keeping your head above the water? I’ve noticed lately, amazing women around me that have so many important responsibilities that they have no time for themselves. They are juggling high level jobs, kids and all the usual demands of life.

This is all too common and we can’t go on like this. Everyone’s situation is unique of course but I do think we can find ways to attain some inner peace despite the outer chaos. Meditation is one of those tools. Going for a simple walk or spending time in nature are other ways to get out of our heads and back in touch with our soul.

Our health is one of the most precious gifts we have so we must make sure it doesn’t get pushed to the side when life takes over.

We aren’t of much use if we are burnt out. It’s easier said than done but it is very possible to take little moments in your day to replenish those energies. Take some breathing breaks where you still the mind. It can be waiting in line somewhere, when you’re commuting to work or even during bathroom breaks!

Come back to the present moment and remember what you are grateful for. Gratitude is a great stress buster. Wishing you a wonderful day where you make a conscious choice to welcome in a little more inner peace one moment at a time.
