You get what you focus on

You get what you focus on so focus on what you want. Sounds simple and logical right? But how many of us tend to focus on what we don’t want (debt, being alone, an unhealthy body)? The more we talk about whatever it is that we don’t want (ex: constantly saying how tired we are about not having enough money), the more we attract that. We must shift our mindset and energy to be able to attract what we do want.

Sometimes we also have these “stories” that we tell ourselves that just reinforce certain patterns (ex: “Oh I’ve never been good with money” or “All my family has had this health issue”). It can be easy to adopt this story because it stops us from taking full responsibility for our current life situation but truth is, WE are the creator of your current circumstances and we must own up to them in order to fully step into our power.

When we take responsibility, we can consciously shift our focus and our actions towards what we want and trust me your subconscious can do amazing work when you plant the right seeds. Try to notice today where your attention goes when you have free “mental time” (walking somewhere, doing the dishes). Is it focusing on elements that can make up a fulfilling life? If not, are you willing to start changing that? You can do it. It is within you no matter what you think or what others might say. It’s up to you to decide if you want to tap into your full potential and create a life where you thrive.
